Benevolence

For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, “You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.” — Deuteronomy 15:11

Our Philosophy

In a world marred by sin, our relationships with God, others, and the world are broken. To help those experiencing poverty, we start by building healthy relationships so we can walk alongside them and provide effective support.

Our Priorities

Scripture instructs us to care for the fatherless, the widow, and the stranger, giving special attention to those within our church. We do not have unlimited resources; therefore, our members and regular attenders are our first priorities, followed by other members of our community.

Our Approach

We do not give cash. We do at times provide assistance with more urgent needs, but our primary goal is to equip people to develop the necessary skills and strength to earn a living.
